Thanks Barbara. I really like it too. It looked almost solid until I took it out of the shrink wrap. Looks really nice now that its out in the open being used.

I missed you!!! Working with my guild today on a piano key border... hand cut the "jelly roll" to match a beautiful jewel box (?) flimsy that turned up in the fabric my brother donated.

I piece on a inexpensive Brother Xl-2600i. It is my first machine and what I learned to sew on. For quilting and binding I use a Bernina Aurora 440QE.

Stephanie.. if you haven't already seen the quilting marine you might find him to be helpful. He also has ptsd and uses quilting as his therapy.
