I swam there in 2003 and found it very interesting. They told me there was a second variety of jellyfish which was white and spent most of its time at the bottom

Charles Opitz try in indonesia we have 4 lake jellyfish like that 1. Kakaban island east kalimantan, 2. Togean island central sulawesi, 3. Raja ampat west papua, 4. Komodo island

Humans just can't leave things be. This is a closed ecosystem. Instead of allowing people to paddle plastic kayaks and allowing people to otherwise contaminate the water (bacteria-ridden wetsuits, aftershave, cologne, perfume, shampoo/hair conditioner, body lotion, sunblock, etc)----why isn't this lake off limits? Some things should be protected and admired from afar. But, no, there HAS to be money made by letting ignoramuses swim and paddle with these precious jellies.

swimming there is free tho i think... and it must be illegal to contaminate the lake with any kind of air conditioner cologne perfume or shampoo etc
