That's how a lot of people's reactions are the first time they watch kpop though because the visuals are usually over the top and kind of crazy. The first time I watched a Kpop video it was Big Bang and I was laughing at how kind of cringey it was and now five years later I'm a big K-pop fan. You can't lie this BTS video is kind of funny if it's the first time you've ever seen a Korean music video.

@@jiminsluvalarm1871 I feel you and you have the right to feel that way. But what actual difference you think should have occurred? The point of a reaction is for people to react naturally & honestly. So if that was their natural reaction than what would you prefer? That they pretend to like it or get it more then they do for the sake of others? That would defeat the point of a reaction. I get it that their reaction can be viewed as disrespectful but honestly we can't really control how people react to new things so it isn't worth beating ourselves over when we know we like kpop or BTS. Also many times people who react this way to something new end up coming to respect and like it later after being exposed more. When I saw Bang Bang by Big Bang the first time I thought it was ridiculous but now years later I love that song. People deserve the right to react naturally and learn and grow. And if they don't happen to learn more about it then it's honestly still okay because it isn't affecting us fans or even the idol groups in any way. I have people tell me they think the metal I listen to is trash with its heavy screaming but I just move on because maybe it's not for them. As long as it's not preventing fans from enjoying the music or the groups from making it, everyone is entitled to their opinions on music even if the opinion is negative. Then laughing at BTS isn't anymore of disrespect for Korean cultures than someone laughing at Justin Bieber is disrespect of Canada. They just don't vibe with the music. Maybe one day they'll come around like so many of us have 😊 Kpop has been hitting on so many cylinders lately & BTS especially are on top of the world. Even real insulting reactions can't affect any of that so we should remain comfortable! Peace my friend! 😁

I get what you're saying because BTS releases things that can be put under a lot of genres, but they're still considered a K-Pop group. In fact a lot of their songs I don't consider K-pop help myself, I consider R&B.

Jellow Quake a lot of army’s have decided that bts isn’t kpop bc they don’t wanna associate with the industry after how they were treated. they’re obviously still in the kpop genre, but some people (like the original commenter) can’t differentiate between the two :/ they’re my favorite group and have been since 2014, but even they call themselves kpop

Jellow Quake 200% yes! i’m so glad the fandom is as big as it is now and am v grateful, but a lot of army’s refuse to acknowledge the problems such a large fan base brings, like ridiculous levels of delusional shipping, severe disdain towards other groups (several of which have worked just as hard!), and general poor attitudes and mob mentality directed at anyone who doesn’t agree with them. the toxicity towards other groups is what really turns me away from stan twitter, especially. that part of the fandom is to other groups what bts’ mockers were to them.

To be 100% honest we had to do this one twice because the first time the camera dropped out. But they knew nothing if BTS beforehand and they are *non kpop* fans but have open minds. They will have opinions that aren't 100% in love with BTS but that's normal. Take a look at some of our other reaction videos.

I kinda feel bad that this is your first video of ours (even though it literally was our first video) This was their very 1st impression of KPop completely, so I'd suggesting watching our more recent stuff. Our older stuff is really rough and not for the sensitive who may not be as understanding of those entering into a completely new world.
