As a dancer myself, I have to sometimes remember that they are singing, rapping, and performing on stage. Sometimes as a dancer, we can be over critical, I love BTS. I am classically trained, and dance professional not anymore due to injuries and my age. I'm just trying to say maybe that is the case with them as well. I'm super impressed because I can't sing, rap, and dance at the same time, but I can dance for 90 mins with limited breaks in between.

If you've seen any of their other videos, you'll know that they're always honest about their opinions and that BTS is the bar they compare all other acts against. Just like you think people dumping on BTS when they don't even know them, as long as you keep calling him "dude on the left," that just sounds nicely hypocritical.

Thanks for reacting, but the one thing that didn’t really make sense to me, was them talking about the old style dancing and they could have done away with it, or it’s old vibes. Those videos you are referring to, they are actually in that era you were talking about. Those were old videos, not their, for example, their 2017 performances and onward. Like others are also saying, they are singing live! You can’t do all the extras your talking about. That’s the chore you see in music videos, and concerts live, and what they do is impressive! Both singing, rapping, and dancing.

8:19 man you really said it well, respect. I agree with you, many choreo doesnt really catch up to the song, but I found their choreo always hit the beat with the right moves, I feel. Their choreo might not always the hardest one I mean anyone can learn the moves, but when beat flow the dance catch up with strong moves also, jumping, spinning, even body flipping.

@@JellowQuake start with "Hit" dance practice since it's a fast song...then "Heaven" its collab with Nuest song is much slower but the translation between hard movements and slower it's just amazing especially the isolation. Make sure mention that they are known to be the Kings of Synchronization yet smallest member is o ly 5'5 & tallest is 6'3 he will understand how incredible hard would be to sync with those heights differences. Another one I would recommend is Ten & WinWin from WayV cover song of Billie Elish "Lovely" Winwin is trained in Chinese Traditional Dance which like ballet and he is incredible, Ten is also a master genius dancer. Am going to subscribe with hope to see more of his reactions to dance practices.

"This the kinda stuff that exo needs to be doing" Even as an army, I think that was unnecessary. :/ I think y'all misunderstand K-Pop, although it's more different in the 4th gen K-Pop, the older gen K-Pop there were more different types of groups. There were groups who debut as a vocal group, and there were groups who debut as a dance group. Yes, they all do the same (dance and sing at the same time, while performing), but they focus on their strengths, like exo=more into vocals, and bts=more into dancing. But pls don't misunderstand what I said, bc just bc I said that, doesn't mean they only limit themselves based on what they are known for (dancing or singing etc) or are good at. Meaning, they can still improve and expand if they want to, they can even make newer concepts at the future, which majority a lot of older groups are doing nowadays, like exo and bts. Also, speaking of expanding and improving, I think over the years BTS have improved so much, with singing and rapping and just making music in general, also Exo improved in dancing, making good songs, and concepts etc. So I don't think it was necessary to compare them, or any groups in general. Also going back to the 4th gen groups, why are they different than the older groups? It's because as K-Pop advances or improves, the standards in trainees are getting higher as well, especially now that K-Pop is getting recognition internationally. Unlike before, nowadays it's a necessity to know how to dance and sing/rap at the same time in order to debut, because they feel like the only way they can compare/compete with their seniors is if they can do better than them in music shows. Which is actually not really a bad thing because at least groups nowadays have more balance with the rapping, singing, and dancing, but can't say it's not more challenging than before, especially now that the stakes are higher. That's why it's more harder to debut nowadays, especially if the company they're under is not part of the big companies today.
