I was just recently in Zagreb, Croatia (née Yugoslavia) touring with our choir. We started off in Venice, then to Ljubljana, (Slovenia) Bled,(Croatia), Dubrovnik, (Croatia), and ended the trip with Split, (Croatia). We took one day to explore the beautiful Plitvice Lakes and the countless waterfalls. All I kept thinking while on this trip was, “Zagreb is that city where Danse’s parents are from on Jem. And Bled is where she found her father and extended family.” Of course I couldn’t help but laugh because Venice was the location of the episode “In Stitches” where the rock fashion competition was being held.

Oh man, I loved this show so much as a child and am rewatching it now so many decades later. I never saw this episode as a kid and I can't believe it. It would've meant so much to me! I immigrated from Zagreb in the 80s and felt like such an outsider coming from Yugoslavia. So seeing this crossover would've meant the world to me!

I am so happy that she and her father reunited and maybe someday she will be reunited with her mother, and together they could be a family again.

Unexpected location, & some nice backstory for Danse. Interesting stuff with the motives of the villain. Almost thought he'd push that guy off the train. 😶 Good part w/her finding the family. Close call with the boulder. 😐 Nice end & ep. 🙂

This is an interesting, if bizarre episode. The mystery unravels rapidly but has a lot of unknowns at first. It's interesting that Rio of all people can read people so well (considering he can't figure out his two girlfriends are the same people). Repeatedly he figures out something is up with how people shift emotionally.

My sister's favorite character is Danse so this is her favorite episode. This is a memorable send off for our lovely rainbow haired dancer/choreographer. There are all kinds of unfortunate implications between Viktor and Nadia's relationship. Who would know that within a few years former Yugoslavia would make very unfortunate tragic news? Because of the Bosnian-Serbian conflicts. There are things that don't go together. Ba Nee and zoos. The Stinger Girls and water. Danse and snow either real or fake. Am I going to ask why a balley director has defense plans or is that none of my business? Danse was awesome standing up to Viktor but seriously who would be intimidated by a soft spoken sweet tempered rainbow haired ballerina? It's like being threatened by a toddler or a Chihuahua. Admirable in standing up for onself but doesn't strike fear into the heart.

Right the later seasons the animation changed and I prefer the original animation studio they used

You should try to find a DVD version, since VHS eventually degrades over time.

It was rather stupid of Victor to keep the letters Peter sent to Nadia and not burned them. Even a great villain knows to destroy the evidence

It looks like he kept everything related to Dance's mom in his secret stalker room. Perhaps he was too sentimental, thinking anything related to her was worth keeping, even if it was from a man he hated.

Yes the actress who played the Baroness also played Lexa . So many people played other characters from other cartoons .

I kept expecting the GI Joes to bust in and pull a mask off her to expose some sort of convoluted COBRA plot (maybe Victor was so powerful because COBRA was funding him).
