I needed to see this. I'm a widow at 32 and felt the same. I was never the cute one or the girly one in the group. At most, I learned how to do my hair but I would not touch makeup. We had recently gotten married in a German castle and I LOVED the way my stylist did my makeup. It was so natural and she used all Charlotte Tillbury products. Part of my growing and healing and also as a late bloomer...is coming around and giving make up a try. It's not necessary but it is such a confidence booster!!❤

This video made me so emotional. I lost my mom when I was 19 years old and totally lost myself over the years. I wish I had an experience like this at some point to inspire me and teach me to keep on going in the right path. Jen you're the coolest person ever I hope I get to meet you someday! I wish I would of seen the contest so I could have entered. I lost my mom to breast cancer when I was 19 years old. I stayed home and took care of her and a year into her being rediagnosed my dad got diagnosed with ALS. I am 23 now, my dad is still here and he is the most positive person ever. But life is just heavy sometimes. I too know the power of what a good hair and makeup day can do for you. I love the quote "Don't wait for a special occasion to get dressed up, life is a speical occasion."
