I’d be nervous to vacuum it! If that were to start pulling it apart, maybe you could attach it to another rug on the back side with carpet glue or some other industrial adhesive? Also, if anyone tries this with an Xacto/utility knife, PLEASE use something as a barrier over your floor! I was so nervous she was gonna carve flowers into the hardwoods y’all 😩 From a fellow DIYer who’s learned it the hard way. I absolutely LOVE how it turned out!!
