This year I'm doing something similar to this but in the crockpot. It's just my son and I and he will be working until about 2:30. I'll have my cranberry sauce on the side. He doesn't like the sauce but requested a cranberry cake for dessert (he's weird like that. Lol)

We used to host what we called "orphans Thanksgiving " if you cldnt be with family for the holiday you cld come to our hse. It was awesome. Now its just 3 of us and that's awesome too!
