Every few thousand years or so the human race gets a gift from the gods in the form of an angelic voice on earth. There will never be another Kim that comes even close to the powerhouse that is Leah Salonga. Not even Eva Noblezada as cute and talented as she is can shadow the greatness of Ms Salonga.

I am a Filipino and i prefer Eva to Lea. IMO, Eva has a wider pitch range than Lea. Mas soulful at mas may character ang boses at inyerpreyation ni Eva.

I don't think it's accurate to say she "quit" Miss Saigon. People quit when they're fed-up. She simply left the show because she got everything she could from it as an artist and she wanted to be challenged and try new things. 4 years is a very long time to be in a show. Most Broadway performers stay with a show for about a year if it's a starring role. Ensemble members tend to stay far longer as productions usually offer growth opportunities to chorus and ensemble members. But even they stay usually for 2-3 years.

When Monique returned, she became the principal and Meera became the alternate (although may nagsasabi na nag-continue on si Monique as alternate until Meera left the show) After Meera left, Monique Wilson stayed on as the principal, with Jenine Desiderio and Jamie Rivera as alternates. After Monique, si Jenine naman ang pumalit while Jamie Rivera continued as alternate. Then came Joanna Ampil as Jenine’s alternate after Jamie left. When Jenine ended her stint as Kim, Joanna took over as principal.
