@@predvcecerom you get experience which is very important and you can control creep camps in lane. the clarity also gives slightly more mana than the hook costs. What you lose is 18s of the pressure of having hook, so you shouldn't blindly spam hook on creeps, but it's definitely worth it on its own.

Jenkin's actual tips on hitting hooks: 1. Wait for the enemy to be already dead and out of options 2. Wait for them to be dealing with something more threatening than you 3. Pretend to be stupid and useless to bait the enemy 4. 360 NOSCOPE

The "Tunnel Vision" technique works really well on Gyrocopter. Move towards an enemy target that you don't intend to kill, as you're moving drop homing missile at whoever you want it to hit. The intended target will assume it's aimed at the other heroes while it is stationary and not make the space necessary to escape the range where the stun will result in a kill.

10:39 this was also a thing back in dota1, whereas if you're standing still and did the same hook on portrait, you will hook backwards but it will always point on the right side of the map not the fountain. Works the same with POTM arrow.

Any thoughts on carry tiny? The hero honestly feels super busted with the new silvers edge and atk speed change. He has a really good laning phase, mid game and eventually does well late game with the 3 toss charges allowing you to solo most carries. I am only playing it in unranked and skill level fluctuates hugely, but I am currently on a 10 win streak with it, so it seems pretty solid.

I learned how to properly land hooks through Neil from Dota Cinnamon. He had a guide where he taught you that you dont need to center the hook to the target to hit them. just grazing that hook hitbox to the target's hitbox works. That's where you get those bullshit hooks where it should have hit you or it hit a creep instead. Was hoping Jenkins added it here since it's helpful tip to keep in mind when trying to hit hooks since a lot of bad pudge thinks you need to hit them dead center when you actually need to just be aware of that hook hitbox and see if you can graze the enemy hero with it.

8:28 - You don't have to kill the enemy hero at all to gain a Flesh Heap Stack. The enemy just has to be within a 450 range of pudge to get a stack once they die.

In Hunter X Hunter, the protagonist, Gon, gets the exact same reasoning as you do, Jenkins. It's in the survival thing in the island. He's facing a stronger enemy (crazy psycho magician, Hisoka) and he needs to steal something from him. For that he uses a fishing rod. Instead of just blindly hooking Hisoka when he could be aware of that, he waits. He waits till Hisoka himself chooses to attack another guy, and when Hisoka's focus is on his victim, he hooks him and run away.

Btw it is possible to stack all 3 camps in triangle as pudge. You just gotta hook small camp hit ancients around 52-53s and then run to the big camp and go down towards the shop. It's so fucking good by min 10-12, if you got cores that can clear all the camps fast, you could have a dagger from that support gold.

Tried this strat before this videp came out. I had a very good early to mid game, dominanting top as a pos4, blocking every camp to control the jungle and giving my pos 3 substantial supporting whilst rotating to other lanes. In the end my mid and carry didn't deliver late game and still lost even tho we were snowballing early. Welp, that's SEA for you.

Yo Jenkins. When hooking someone should you press rot then dismember or dismember then rot. I usually press rot first and it feels like my dismember takes more time to queue up. I'm unsure if I'm just imagining it or maybe I'm just slow.

He forgot to mention that the laning with Enigma is situational because Enigma will deny the range creep of every wave which pushes the creep equilibrium to Enigma's side where he can have easier time to maintain the balance. Other heroes will have a harder time

dismembering on the hook has been around since the dawn of dota2 it used to be automatic in dota1 but in dota 2 because your hero walks forward after hooking to auto attack it could be tricky but if you are able to press dismember on the enemy hero midair while they are getting dragged by the hook you can guarantee the instant dismember

Main pos 5 here. That Grimstroke is just too passive and overprotective of the PA. Leave the PA alone and punish the pudge. He can nuke the pudge with 2 strokes before he can land 2 hooks on you. Punish him when he is hogging the camp creeps.

I see your point but when enigma turns the ranged into 3 creeps and synchronizes his autoattacks with the creeps ones you can be sure that after 3 waves pa will have like 2 last hits while enigma has 12 denies 13 last hits. The grim has a good ability to pressure the idallons and I guess they knew the laningmatchup is loosing in general and they tried to get pa as much farm as possible out of that. Further, pudge has a windlance and will just run away from grim if grim tries to hardcommitt onto him.

People insist on playing Enigma jungle but if you do, you need to nonstop jungle 20 minutes to make up for the fact that you absconded your laner and they got dumped on while the enemies in the lane got free farm. Lane enigma is on the other hand impossible to trade with or fight for farm. Eidolons absolutely decimate your HP, and your hopes to CS or deny. Leave PA 1v1 against Enigma and PA might as well not be in the game.

@@lauchinator1238 I agree to your points and this depends on how you harrass them and maintain the lane. In my games, this kind of playstyle of pos4 harassing my creep pulls is too common that i've learnt very well on how deal with them. I am a very aggresive pos 5 and most of the time able to kill the pos4 hogging my camp. In most of my game experience, the pos 3 have high chance of coming to help the pos4 if you killed pos4 once around the camp(Because I've shown dominance and threat). Thus, providing a window for pos1 to farm lane, or come duo kill them. I've always have my voice chat on and from time to time i'll ask my pos 1 if they are okay. If they are okay, I'll continue to show dominance on the camps by trying to solo kill him and pull. If no, then I usually go for your method. I always have wind lace as my 0 minute mark item. That is why I can easily chase or outrun them.
