Hi Jenkins, your Slark and AM offlane builds literally changed my life. I used to have a full 5 stack of friends to play Dota with all the time, but now they can only tolerate me one game a week before they all report me for griefing. This has given me more time to exercise, work, read books, and otherwise improve myself one step at a time. I can't wait to adopt this new Bane build and extend that to Dota only once a month. Thank you very much, from a former Crusader, now bordering Herald

Tried this bane playstyle like 2 weeks ago. I have to say if you play with randoms, expect them to wake the enemy up when you want to solo kill them. Will happen for once or twice or 3x, after that. They MIGHT learn.

well, bane is not a right clicker back in dota 1. he is a dagon + eb + book builder. i played a lot of competitive dota 1 games and ive never faced a bane with a right click build.

Yeah I never got that chance to play dota 2 and had like 10-15 years of dota 1 under my belt lol. Being able to attack characters with bane who are in nightmare and giving him attack speed is such a dope spin on the character but sounds absolutely nuts in terms of being balanced🤷

I'm gonna give this one a pass. I tried mid Bane when the patch hit and the #1 biggest problem I had was my teammates saving enemies and disabling themselves during midgame fights and having to basically yell at them not to hit them because I'm doing it for free, and then they are scared to hit enemies I ult. I literally had someone shouting "DON'T HIT DON'T HIT" during my ult. Don't do this to yourself. If you aren't very high MMR, your teammates will be too retarded to play with you. You know this in your heart. It's the same reason why people were reporting anyone for 2 years playing Riki in weird roles, as if his other roles were nearly as good as the ocassional mid or a pos 4. The perception of how your teammates play around you had to change before it was something you could win games with. I'm not so blind as to think this isn't good or has good games, but I'm not going to even bother. Bane will be reworked next patch after getting something good, it's the rule.

Try this broken strat: Hero: Bane Skill: max Nightmare, then Brain Sap. Item: mask of Madness, damage item, shadow blade. Strat: Go mid, Nightmare enemy, free hit with Mask of madness. Use Brain Sap if the enemy isn't dead already.

One fun thing for bane is to get brain sap to level 2 and get a soul ring, then you're spending 20 health to do 150 pure damage and gain 50 mana

if you end up mid, but you dont know what to pick to survive the lane, you can pick keeper of the light and max illuminate and chakra and blast out the lane. Just dont die on lvl 1.

Some guy tried this today, he was in enemy team, top lane with slardar, I was playing lich with ember spirit against them.. tranquil boots will help negate all the damage from bane's first skill .. they lost the lane and Bane abandoned the game in middle
