One of my fondest memories of being a herald was the absolute peace and serenity during the first 60 minutes of the game. You would be guaranteed that much time to afk farm because the enemy team was also doing the same thing. Objectives were never pressured so you never felt pressured. Everyone was just gearing up to be 6 slotted for the second hour of the game where you would have nonstop epic battles. Good times

Potential new mode: Insta-Late Deathmatch where all heroes start at level 30 with 30K gold and auto Shard + Scepter. Ancients are invulnerable and the goal is 500 kills.

I don't play DotA anymore, but the thing I most remember about Herald DotA is . . . not much, because I was mostly hammered. I stopped DUI (dotaing under the influence) and suddenly I wasn't in Herald anymore. If you just assume everyone in these videos is drunk as shit, it makes a lot more sense.
