He didn’t “decide” ! He was basically forced ! They knew for years he was impacted by dementia but repeatedly lied saying it was right wing conspiracy ! Harris said over and over again he was fine , energetic , and “ working every day for the American people”. Then all of a sudden on debate night the media , and democrats noticed his decline and it was an emergency to remove him? BS!!! They knew but they let him win the primaries .. then they named Harris who didn’t need to lift a finger to win any primaries . Terrible! They kicked Biden out like a dog! I too left a career when I was at the top, to be home to raise my children. Never regretted it for one minute. They are all in their 40s today and some of their fondest memories are coming home from school, for lunch...something I could not have done had I been working. there is no price that you could put on these moments that can't be missed - moments of your children (especially if they are young: if they are doing a play at school or if they are playing sports: let's say you miss a softball game or something like that).. they could think that: "oh, where's mommy ?!?!" your partner: "she had to go to work." then, the children would be like: "we miss mommy.." (they are going to be crushed, with sadness..) your response could be: "I will catch you the next time when I request time off; only if the boss(es) let me, with advance notice." :( (unless the children go to school everyday; then, it would be a different situation.).

I am glad I had the chance to meet you when I turned 50. Loved you on both Today and 4th hr. I left my job at 54 to take care of myself after illness and to take care of my Uncle who has Parkinsons. This has me in tears!! I LOVE HODA! She is like, americas mom! I’m not sure I’ve ever felt a more, relatable connection to a news reporter. Watching her with Simone over the years and so many others she interviews with a such a sense of connection not just questions. It comes from her heart.
