two things can be true. If it was just scheduling conflicts, she could've easily announced this when Scream 7 was announced, or a little after. I think with the timing, she's standing side by her friend/costar (i've read she's pro-pal as MB is), but saying conflict schedule gives her some wiggle room to drop out gracefully.
