favorite kids live movie ever i was obsessed with the fun they had and christopher lloyd made it interesting 😂 cute boys and pretty girls made it feel like camp was going to be "make out central" 😂 i was so happy it ended with them all on good terms and had the best time ever after all i highly recommend every one should see it at least once in their life

I literally put the movie on right after watching this video. I was 9 when it came out, so it was definitely a movie we watched growing up in the 90s😅. TBH, it still holds up 30 years later even if it is pretty whacky!!

This movie was EVERYTHING to me. Still is in some ways. That camp, the camp from Heavyweights, and the camp from Bug Juice remain what I have in my mind as the template for kids summer camp. Anything else is a lie. As a kid myself when I watched this, I thought it was amazing. Kids today will never know cinematic masterpieces because Hollywood will never take those risks again. See also the masterpiece that is Spice World.

Yes! And Marne Patterson was every teen boys ultimate crush. Such an underrated movie. That awful photoshopped cover art though? Why? Did they not have a poster or promo pic they could have used? So many of the camp kids were character actors on the top teen shows of the time. And I chuckle at Jonathan's "Jorts" and Reebok Pump sneakers. All my middle school classmates dressed just like that. Add in the shaved back bowl cut hair.. Pure nostalgia!
