Recently I cut my hair short because of your hairstyle. I am so happy I did because everything you mentioned as a mom and this being an effortless look makes total sense. I actually bypass the heat products and just use the “easy method” of tying up my dry hair than taking it out and spraying it. It still gives that effortless, beach vibe. Love it and so easy.

A great thing you can do to simplify your hair routine is braid. Works for all hair lengths and is super simple. All you need to do is take an extra 10 mins before going to bed and braid your hair. The number of braids depends on the size of curls you like. I personally love 2 for my hair, on some days 4. You can braid before going to bed, spray some plain water on the braids (unless your hair is already wet) and go 😴. The water is necessary because that way the waves are way more pronounced, stay on longer and have more volume. In the morning you take the braids out and bam - natural looking wavy hair with no heat. Just remember to braid the whole hair (scalp portion included) to achieve a finer look. I think this is a great method, I do it on myself on the daily. I hope you (or anyone else reading this) find this useful. **please excuse me if I've made mistakes/typos, I'm still learning**

I always had long hair growing up, but after quitting ballet at 17, I went really short (like shaved in the back, angle to the front...and died it purple). Now at 25, I am back to my natural colour and shoulder length hair. I can't say I will never go long or short again, but for now its the perfect length for keeping my head down and focusing on my career. I recently cut my hair to a lob, it’s just a tiny bit longer in the front. I find doing a blowout once a week keeps me from having to wash it more than twice a week. I do miss being able to just throw it up but I like the change. Love your videos! ♥️

I have short hair also, it's about the same length but a little shorter! I agree, it is was easier to manage and you don't have to do much with it. I have had short hair for a couple years now because my hair is so thick and I think the shorter hair style looks better on me and just works for me. I have had short short hair most of all my life. I am attempting to grow it out because the one thing I remember feeling when I once had it shoulder length in the past was how pretty and feminine I felt. I had more confidence. I stood up taller because of this longer hair. Plus, I’m tired of being called “Sir” all the time, lols. The goal right now is the short bob look and the next goal is to grow it at your length. I LOVE having short hair, it falls down to my collar bones and it's so easy and hassle-free. I have naturally voluminous and wavy, thick hair. So whenever I'm gonna go out the next day I have a shower at night and put it into two french braids starting from my temple when it's damp. When I wake up I have naturally curly and wavy hair and it literally took no effort! That's my favourite thing to do with my hair

I recently cut my hair short after wearing it long for soooo many yrs and i honestly dnt miss the length at all. It is sooo much easier wth short hair and honestly it is a look on its own without putting so much effort. That said, i do have a trick, wait till hair is 80% air dried then twist and secure wth a small or Medium Spiked Hair Claw (depending on hair volume) ...undo and see the resulting wavy greatness.

I do love the beach tousled 💖 but SO true, the short blunt bob is so easy because it’s a look without having to try. Love your honesty and realness! My hair is your length as well, and your so right, the trick is good product! Once I discovered dry texture spray (favorite is Oribe, but love Ouai and Kristin Ess too) it changed my hair game. I can literally air dry it and spray that in and I’m good. But I do have a heavier on bottom/hair flip out problem too, so that straighten tip is great! 💖💖💖💖💖

I have shoulder length hair just like yours and have had it this way for years (I'm 34). I used to have it a bit longer but I love my shorter hair as I am extremely lazy with it! Plus I'm a mum and expecting baby no.2 right now. I wash it, use a leave-in conditioning spray or a bit of oil on my ends and then on 2nd day hair I will use a bit of dry shampoo and/or texturising spray and that is it!

I absolutely love your hair both ways but if I had to choose a favorite, it would be the night look. My hair on the other hand is very long and fine (I have a lot of it though). May hair does not curl (it will fall out as soon as I hit the doors. I have tried everything!!). So with that being said, I just use It’s a 10 miracle leave in product, to give it heat protection (for when I dry it) , de-frizz, and de-tangle. It helps with a ton of other things, but those are the main things I need.

I have had super long hair and super short hair. Currently short! I love to use a 1 inch wand and curl every piece, then spray in some salt spray for texture. I honestly love my short hair more because I feel more put together and sleek.

I just chopped my hair to about an inch below my shoulders and I also got a loose perm! I know what you’re thinking, and yes, perms still exist! Now for the summer months I can just wash, scrunch, and go! I don’t have to worry about using any heat.

I love both the styles but fav is the straight look on you cause you have amazing cheekbones! All of my 20s I’ve had hip length hair and it’s curly like a curly fry! And I absolutely loved it... but few months after I turned 30 I felt like I needed a change cause in all my photographs I looked exactly the same..... Just needed to feel a little different you know....short hair was a revelation everything was shorter hair wash time, less products, styling It was crazy! But my family had the hardest time coming to terms with my short hair for them It was like living with a different person😂... but I love it....❤️❤️

I completely agree about short hair being quicker as a mom ...i had really long hair when my son was born and its naturally curly so eyen just putting it back i a pony tail id spend ages flattening the crown where it was frizzy....i went short in stages right up to a pixie cut and k spend 3-5 mjns tops...im currently growing it out but ill never go long again. As I've gotten older the less time I like to spend doing my hair. When I don't air dry I use a flat iron to straighten and flip the ends for a wispy and windblown look.

I prefer the straight hair on you for your hair length.❤️ My personal experience, I had long hair (up till my waist) for the longest time and about two months back i decided to cut it short (shoulder length) just so that it gets to grow healthily. I think it was the biggest mistake i made. you know there are some people who say that short hair is easier to manage? not for me, it was the total opposite! I have to use more products in my hair and use more heat to keep it from poofing up like a lion's mane. I have natural wave in my hair, so when it was longer, it provided a certain weight to keep the hair from poofing up. Still learning to embrace the change. Anyhoo, hello from Malaysia! 💋
