1) Great choice for the Alaska cruise, a lot of people have that on their bucket list. 2) haha now your expectations are super high now for any other cruise you take next and the suite doesn't help. Well unless you get a suite everytime. 3) You didn't mush the doggies!! That is soooo awesome to do and if thry have new puppies you can give them hugs. 🤗

I love your enthusiasm & positive attitude! I was on this same ship to Mexico in April 2022, and will take it again to Alaska on 9/11/2022. This will be my third Alaskan cruise with Princess. My first Alaskan cruise was in 1999 and we had the same type of suite. It could be pouring rain and cold -- I don't care! It's a cruise! It's Alaska! It's the end of this bloody heat wave!!

Great recap.of Discovery I just sailed 2 weeks ago. Loved it. Did Kayaking in Ketchikan, hike in Juneau, and bike ride in Skagway. We had great weather. Ship is so beautiful. The Juneau dining room was closed when I was on.

"where did you come from?" Yeah, Mt. Rainier does that. When I lived in that area, it could be months of gray skies, and then all of a sudden a perfectly clear day and you would turn a corner, and there would be Rainier. It always surprises you because you don't normally see it.

we went in 2015 August. never had i ever had issues packing for the trip. Seattle...90 degrees, Tracy Ann Forge Glacier - 20 degrees...raining in Juneau! we also bought winter gear while on the trip, never wore them again as we live in Atlanta! LOL you did our 7 day but in a different order. We did Juneau/Skagway/Ketchikan/Tracy Ann/Victora. I am so glad you had the same great experience! i even sag "The Love Boat" Them in karaoke while on the love boat!

Very cool. I work for the port of Vancouver as a long shoremen when cruise ships come into Vancouver canada we load all the food and other goods and all the baggage onto and off of the ship. It’s funny I work on the ships at port but I’ve never been on a cruise myself. But maybe one day, the food is amazing!!

@@JennaEzarik ya a lot goes into it, when I’m doing my job of loading and unloading all the goods, food, baggage and literally anything else the ship needs (and some stuff is crazy) in such a short amount of time, and then when people show up late and the ship wants to leave. It’s controlled chaos. But so fun!

I've been watching cruising channels for the past year so it was nice to see a vloggers perspective on it. Did you try ordering a drink on the app and having it sent to your medallion? If you can convince Justine, your family and friends, maybe try a cruise to Hawaii out of LA or San Diego, 10-14 night cruise. A large suite or a couple of balcony cabins and it should be a fun cruise.

I've been to Alaska three times for work. Ketchikan was my absolute favorite place but I went all over Alaska and it's all pretty cool.
