I have not watched this video yet, but I fully intend to because I love your sewing videos so much. Just came here now to tell you that I had a baby boy this week and his name is Benson… and it was definitely inspired by your Benson. So there’s a new level of fame, people naming babies after your dog! 😆

I’ve always wondered how the American creators that I watch always find theses amazing deals on fabrics as it’s SOO expensive to buy fabric in Europe (for me specifically Germany) and I really rekated to you when you showed these prize tags on the bridal fabrics as that’s what I am used to when fabric shopping 🙈 but the fabric you found was STUNNING and the final dress is also a dream 😍 loved the video!!
@prostheticballerina2 жыл бұрын
I lived in Germany for almost a decade and recently moved back to Canada (in the same place that this KZbinr lives by the way). Fabric in Germany is just soooo much better! You don’t know how lucky you are! Here, we get almost no European fabrics and when we do, it’s insanely expensive!!! When I visit Germany I try to stock up!
@7Ninelle2 жыл бұрын
it's probably because america has cheaper quality fabrics that go along with the better deals.

You can also make straps without turning them inside oute by cutting a piece about 4 times as Wide as you would like them, then folding both sides to the middle of the piece, and then folding it in halve again. Then you can sew along the side with a regular Stich. You do end up with a strap that is 4 layers thick, but especially with very thin fabric it ends up working quite well. The dress looks amazing by the way :)
