I admire you guys so much. How does Nick cut vertically with the circular saw and keep it so straight? Also, we have the same wait music for utilities in Australia 😂

Swedish power companies have recently started the same scam. If you don’t shut off your SMART meter with the yellow button on it the company won’t know that you’re disconnected so they’ll “assume” you’re still using power in some magic way and start charging for a made up amount. 🤯🤯🤯 Like so many other weird and unusual things happening it seems to be part of some global scheme involving the term S.M.A.R.T. 🤔😉😇

I really appreciate the humanity of Jenna and Nicky. This series is SO much better than those short DIYs where everyone sounds the same: “I just wanted to make this IKEA bookcase look like a built-in. First, I got some paint. Next, I replaced those doors with rice paper. Then I screwed the whole thing in and it magically came together so easily for me!”

You folks are amazing. That cut wood will make an amazing craft/decor project at some point. Nicky already gave us that screw fun fact in an early(er) episode. Don’t pay that electricity bill. It’s not yours, you didn’t use it. They can’t pursue you for a service you can prove they didn’t provide. This series is fantastic. Sending good vibes for roofing weather from Scotland. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Just don't leave your babies unattended outside, and you shouldn't have to worry about the eagles. We lived on Whidbey Island for a couple of years, and heard stories about them taking pets, but we just made sure they we're outside without us.

E-mail the power company to re-cap the phonecall. Confirm in the e-mail that you were told to pay the bill and told you would be refunded by the person you spoke to. Follow up each month so you have a paper trail

I was impressed with the laser. First time I saw a measuring laser was when I moved into my money pit, I mean house, 10 years ago. They will probably use them next week when they come see how bad our foundation is.

Hello from Australia! I really look forward to watching your videos each week. You both are doing an amazing job and I am in awe. You have worked so hard and are so determined to succeed and get the job done. You have a billion dollar view and your home already looks stunning. Well done :) BTW I have a 30 year old daughter and you Jenna remind me so much of her. She too is a graphic designer, has her own successful business, is fair, lean, long blonde hair blue eyes (not tall though) and went to Taylor swifts concert earlier this year with her younger sister. Their dads name was David and her and her husband just built a huge home with a flat roof (I call it the white house) along the South Australian coast. It has a stone fireplace feature, deck and spa, wooden flooring, weatherboard. It was a huge project, built through covid and they have almost finished it. They will lease it out as an AirBnB holiday home as its in a tourist seaside coastal town.
