Thank you very much! I know it was a big request and a lot of extra work when you already do so much for everyone. You are an exceptional person and I appreciate how hard you work on sharing your art, ideas and techniques, plus your time. Thank you again for being such a nice lady. We all love you and wish you well. Geary

That's an amazing creation! You did a great job fitting all of that in there. When I travel, I take a small journal, my markers, my sketching pencils, double-sided tape & an eraser in a decorative kids lunch bag. I add a travel watercolor set & water brush on longer trips. I can't wait to see the other tutorials. Have a wonderful holiday!!! Wendy

OMG!!! What a fantastic idea. I have an old filofax 'thing' and I am so going to be doing this. I am also looking around for different things which I can repurpose too. Cant wait for the next tutorial. Have a great holiday. Be safe
@jennibellie12 жыл бұрын
hiya, yes I have altered books before but don't think they've featured in any of my vids only on my blog. I tend to make my own journals by using the bookpages inside the journal or sometimes using pretty antique novel covers for my journal covers etc more than using the altered book as a whole. Yes I enjoy watching gulfspr1tes pages too x

I always love your ideas! After seeing your blog & tutorials, I look at things differently, seeing new uses for items for art now. Great idea with the organiser (filofax), I can't wait to make one. I love the eraser (rubber) & ribbon attachments as charms. The folder for the washi tape is great too. The entire kit looks wonderful, will you please post a list of things you put in your travel journal kit? I hope you have a great holiday. I look forward to hearing about it. Hugs & best wishes!

I was horrible when I first started - but now, I am (I'd say) about 97% myself on my videos. And thank you so much again for the encouragement! xo

Yes you can! And please do post I'd love to see. It's a learning process babe so never be hard on yourself if you don't like a page and make sure you pat yourself on the back when you do. But most importantly - have FUN! It's a journal, a place to get out hopes, fears, negativity, positivity ~ not a finished piece of art!! Much love xxx

I'm going to do this!!! It's so much smaller than the big case I've got!!!! Thanks Jennie!!!
@jennibellie12 жыл бұрын
Hey dear, thank you I will =) I'm sure you could do it just with instructions it's quite easy - measure your plastic to the right size & double that (so when you fold it in half it's right) and leave some length for the lip/flap that opens it (I gave one inch). On the edges stick some strong glue and then tape to secure it. On the front add circles cut from cardboard with eyelets, then add a tie to wrap between them. Prob sounds more complicated via a comment lol but try it, super simple =) x
