So I feel like a grandma trying to figure out how to leave this comment (I'm 32 lol) but I wanted to thank both you and Jenny Allen for this podcast! I listened yesterday and afterwards I started to feel a real temptation for lust. In the midst of the temptation I realized that part of overcoming it was shutting off what I was letting in. Jenny mentioned the whole topic on plucking out the eye that offends you. The way she expressed it really helped me to relate to my real life struggle. I reached out to my biblestudy girls for prayer and shut off my electronics, figuring I could read if I wanted to stay awake. God brought victory in this before real temptation could set in! I praise God this morning for the victory and for you ladies! Thank you for nurturing your relationship with Jesus and being real in the platform God has given you! Love this podcast! I came here by divine appointment as I struggle with anxiety. The enemy has been attacking my faith a lot and I've been strong, but can I ask for prayer from you! Now there’s a woman who DEFIES GOD with her whole life! 1 Timothy 2:12 - But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence. 1 Corinthians 14:34 - Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law. 1 Corinthians 14:35 - And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church. 1 Timothy 2:11 - Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection. I BET SHE’LL NEVER PREACH THESE COMMANDS OF GOD that she rebukes and defies day after day with her whole life.
