You said at 5 that if you become famous you will still love the Lord, and girl you are living out that promise! I can’t help but smile at what great work our Heavenly Father does.

To be completely honest, I lost sight of my own faith and questioning the church I once stood with and their beliefs and looking into new types of churches that are christian and fit my core beliefs. ok every single person has “something against them” and sin and mistakes, but it’s not my place to judge, or cast the first stone. I may not have something against you because I do not know you, but God knows all of your wrongdoing, just like he does Mine and Sadie’s, and luckily for all of us, Jesus took that sin for us and shows us love instead of hate. It’s not our place to try to hurt someone with what you think their flaws/Mistakes are. Jesus surrounded himself with imperfect people and yet they are up in heaven with him now bc our flaws don’t outweigh God’s love for us.

So true! This whole convo was what has been happening to me. I suddenly got into a place in my life that should've make me happy but instead felt WRONG, maybe because i realized, just like you guys said, that it didn't align with my identity, and i was thinking "is this what God wants for me? was my whole life pointing to this? am I being too pretentious for wanting something else?" I decided to have patience but i wanted to quit SO BAD. The same day i was going back and forth with dropping the ball or holding on a little longer, everything got cancelled, out of the blue someone else decided for me. I was out of that place running and crying from happiness. Felt so much freedom. My whole fear was that I'd be wasting away my life in there and that so much time would have to pass before I'd see a positive change or I could get out of that place, but God did not even let me waste another day. He took care of it that same day. God only asks to trust where he's taking us. Sometimes he takes us to one place just to deliver us some place different/better the next, we just have to trust in Him. Did He ever fail me? Never. Not once. And will never doubt Him again.

Very true. Anything you do just by being your true self anyone could really misunderstand you. I remember I used to jump to conclusions. I remember when your new album came out and Your song You Say hit the charts. There were people in the media who were judging you because of how you dressed and because your song doesn’t speak God. That totally got me upset because I didn’t like hearing all the things they were saying about my favourite female artist. They were talking about how you are Christian and judged how you dressed and how your new songs ‘didn’t speak of God’ I thought obviously they are not Christian because just like in the book of Esther the book doesn’t mention the name of God but you see everything God is in Esther. Just the same with your songs I listen to your music, you may not mention Gods name in the song, but I hear you sing of Him, you sing of his character. I love your songs Lauren and your songs are what I turn to when I need them, as well as Chris Tomlins songs and Phil Wickham

I just realized that esther type connection today too. Sadly I left my old church because of that very reason It involved Lauren diagle song you say. It didn't mention God's name. So I felt that she wasn't a Christian according to Allen parr and Lauren's website about her info. Never mentioned God on her site at all. So I was afraid she was a false convert. But today I listened to her whole album for the first time and clearly she mentions God and jesus in her other songs. I hope now that the truth has been revealed to me about God in her life. I now have no excuse to not go back to church now. Pray for me thanks.😊
