To all of those saying Jennie shouldn’t be talking about Shannen, what is she supposed to say? She didn’t bring it up, Joy asked her. She is speaking about her kindly and carefully pluralizing her answer (“what a bond we all have”). If she said something like, “we didn’t get along”, you’d be criticizing her for that too. She can’t win. Deceased people were still human, not saints, and I’m sure both women played a part in their discord. It seemed like they came to peace at the end, and that’s what matters.

There is a contingent of Shannen’s fans who refuse to accept that Shannen had some significant personality flaws and had some difficult relationships with various people in her career, and get very defensive/offensive about people who worked with Shannen in the past if they don’t talk about Shannen in exactly the way the fans expect them to (or don’t talk about Shannen at all). Somewhat toxic fanbase all amped up on their fan grief (over someone they didn’t actually know).

Well said. However I thought in the end during the 90210 reboot Jennie & Shannen mended fences & left all that in the past. It’s the public that can’t let the past go. It’s so important not to get stuck, but all too often some people do.

Correct they did mend fences but the relationship wasn’t strong there was still tension but respect as Shannen it seems made peace with the 90210 cast. As a hardcore Shannen fan the only one I refuse to hear anything from is fake Alyssa.

depends on the type of breast cancer. many women with early diagnosis and a less aggressive type of cancer live full lives after treatment 30 years on without recurrence. its not all doom and gloom. Your statement about most people living only a year is fallacious. if its an aggressive cancer with late detection that might be true but not for breast cancer across the board. people need education about early detection and treatment as well as hope, so please educate yourself before making such ridiculous statements.

Of course she is going to be asked. There are no spontaneous interview questions on talk shows. The show knows the viewers want the question. Joy asked it to get it out of the way. Jennie gave a safe generic response. Shannen and Jennie were not friends. So it would have been hypocritical of her to say more than she said. She said the bare minimum and moved on.

I really didn't like the Kelly Taylor character and how she was written. She went on to get better roles as her career advanced. Jennie Garth, Shannen Doherty, Tori Spelling Jason Priestly and Luke Perry always had great and very good looking looks since they were at the Beverly Hills 90210 show in early 90's also Tifani Thiessen when she was at this show in mid 90's like with the name "Valerie" and probably somebody out there remember from also tv show from the 90's called Married With Children that was like a family show where actress Christina Applegate was at that show she was beautiful when she was at a younger age these days she has been ill from a disease she has had and probably that is why she doesn't look better in appearance Christina Applegate is getting old as usual she is like in her 50's or 60's

I'm so thankful that Jennie Garth never got the " Hollywood nose job " . I was living in California at the time of her popularity . All the starlets were getting their nosed thinned & bobbed in the late 80's early 90's . Jennie kept it real and it's paid off . She looks gorgeous and her face looks refreshed but not plastic . I'd love to know her plastic surgeon ! Her hair looks awesome , too . 😎😍😘

I was looking for a comment such as yours. Did they really reconcile? I saw Carole Potter on a short youtube clip (mom)and she said she stayed out of it, but it was the wardrobe people that had all the tea. She said that these kids were too young and that especially women, go against each other. Now this 90210 gang are actually older than when Carole Potter started the show and that they have all matured. I too found it tasteless that she went on this show, as well as I saw on ET promoting her clothing line and podcast. Shameful I say. #RIPShannonDoherty
