i dont know this song too well cuz im not a big fan of rent, so it doesn't bother me that she's a bit off from how it's supposed to go in the beginning. but her absolutely incredible tone makes up for anything else that may be what people aren't used to. her voice is so smooth in this song and she makes it so believable. love her!
