It's a raspy belt, it's done with a heavy push of breath from your diaphragm. The raspyness comes from pushing you voice to it's limit mut not beyond. Any more air and this would have been a crack instead of a belt, it takes a lot of control and a lot of aftercare to ensure that you don't lose your voice

I'm in awe that this video is about a year and a half old. Joshua shifted amazingly from a soprano here to a tenor in his most recent post (I like it from A Bronx Tale) he is so talented and he isn't letting puberty get in his way, which I fascinating. I can't wait to see where he ends up in the future. And Gaten is so successful now, I just hope that he doesn't give up his singing and practices to see what his range is now. He is unbelievably talented as well and I know he's gonna go far!!!

How in the world have some people actually clicked "thumbs down" on this video?? Besides the fact that these kids are impressively talented, THEY ARE CHILDREN. What kind of horrifically insecure, hateful person discourages the talented performance of CHILDREN? (I think I answered my own question in the way I phrased that.) Don't hate just because you can't do what they can. Joshua and Gaten, you guys are awesome!
