Jennifer, you should invest in a cooking thermometer that you leave in the chicken while it's cooking. Then it beeps when the chicken gets to temp. I purchased one years ago and it saved me from overcooking everything (which I used to do all the time.)

I love how much you love Barefoot. She is my absolute favorite of all time. My best friend and I used to play this game where we would make up pretend scenarios of what a sleep over at Barefoot’s would be like lol. Obviously it wouldn’t happen on Fridays when she’s making chicken for Jeffrey. I fell in love with her more than 20 years ago and I’ll never get tired of hearing her say, “how bad can that be?”!!! 😂❤❤❤

Love your show. I make this recipe all the time. To take it over the top use leeks instead of onions. I buy the presliced and washed leeks from my local Costco. Occasionally add sliced mushrooms as well. Definitely company worthy.
