Ms Jennifer Holliday seems like a laidback, classy, down to earth woman and that's what I love about her. Your talent is one thing but if you don't have the right personality, your talent is just a talent. It''s not a gift. I can tell she has a gift and the perfect personality.

@LCVU the name of the CD single is A Woman's Got The Power and it was taken from Lifetime soundtrack. On the her cd has different version(s) of this song. My favorite is the Techno version of this song.

So NOT Jennifer Holliday's song. It was written by Richard Bush and Rocco Notte of the A's. Look it up.

What a horrible song. LOL. The song title gives the impression that it's about female empowerment but the lyrics are your typical "cater to your man if you want to hold on to him" sort of thing. But my God, Miss Holliday is singing the hell out of it! This dross would've been un-listenable in less talented hands. And say what you will about Rosie but she's loyal to those she cares about. Thanks for sharing this great clip, BroadwayTVArchive!

I said the same thing!! If Jennifer didn’t sing this song or if a ✋🏻woman sang it, I would HATE it

Well you could see it as a person struggling in drag being lifted by their feminine side. Art is pretty subjective. I know we have to be pro women being indepedant but as someone who is non binary I definitely saw a different side to this song.

why oh why did she not sing to the Thunderpuss Remix version? this slow midtempo version is so boring :(
