Also, Im not sure I agree with the argument that “the paparazzi makes people famous” or “we the paps keep them famous”. Really? Jlo, of all people, doesn’t need you guys to stay relevant. Her career speaks for itself-and I don’t know that it’s really appropriate to take pics with the kids when she blatantly said not to. Several times. And you continued to stare at her and take more pics, like you don’t understand. It was a different story when Benifernwas a thing in the early 2000s, Jlo loved the photogs. But she’s since made her own career and has a family. Like…for real.. The phrases about paps “keeping celebs in the headlines” is only somewhat true. The biggest stars can safely maintain their own fame, I think. If anything, up-and-coming celebs (who aren’t quite on the A-list yet) are the ones who need the paparazzi-plus, they’re often the ones who pay & schedule the photogs to “show up” randomly!! Frontin’ like they’re A-listers already. That’s what photogs are really good for.. Helping careers that haven’t started…lol We have social media these days, and other online sources for information. Nobody is reading Star or Enquirer magazines (or whatever) unless they’re standing in line somewhere. MAYBE some bored individuals with some free time read People magazine. And Us weekly is the most vapid void of a publication ever…they literally have articles about celebrities taking walks and getting coffee. And stepping outside for two minutes. I get it, the photogs are taking photos for blogs and stuff too, but nobody who cares about a celebrity is really going to care that they got into a car or went outside. I lived near celebs in Napa and all of them live there to get away from paparazzi and have more control over their peace. Tamera Mowry was one of my neighbors. Her and her husband own a vineyard there too. She lives a beautiful low key life and her children have so much normalcy and privacy. She was on TV everyday shooting The Real and still managed to have her privacy. Just a few other celebrities I can name who live pretty normal lives, Blake Lively and her husband, Jessica Chastain, Whoopi Goldberg. Ben had a house there in the North, idk if he still does but his life was quiet until he got back with JLO which further proves my point that this is what JLO wants otherwise she wouldn't keep shopping and dining in well known high traffic paparazzi areas across LA. She actually lives in fear of losing relevancy that's why she stays in our faces but pretends like it annoys her. I have inside sources I can confirm.
