These people are mentally ill. I couldn't imagine approaching a famous person and asking for a hug or autograph. What for? How weird. Let alone crying and begging for one. And the ones that hang around outside for hours or even days, that's nuts! I live in NZ and people are so casual about seeing celebrities here. If you see a NZ one or some overseas one that's here making a movie or something, you just don't ask for these things. It's not cool to do that here, unless you're a child. Adults just allow them their privacy.

Celebrities don’t owe their fans shit. Nothing, zip, zero. They are people too! They have thoughts, feelings, anxiety, personal space that should be respected, they have loved ones they care about and want to spend time with in private. They deserve the right to privacy, as do their friends and family, they deserve the ability to enjoy their lives and to feel safe and secure. Imagine having the worst day ever. Maybe a death of someone close to you. You are down and not in a good head space... would you want to take pictures and smile? No. My point is that celebs are people too and we don't know every moment of their personal life. So when they come off as rude or go in a building without stopping, fans don't know what their day has been like. I have moments or days when the last thing i want to do is socialize or where i feel like the whole can just f off. Celebs do too. People push their boundaries and try to take photos in a washroom or come to their homes... it goes beyond just being a fan and enters the realm of being creepy. There is a time and place and people don't want to accept that. Also, i wouldn't be too happy if people were throwing things at me while at work... that also pushes a huge boundary. But if a celeb says something or shows they are displeased, then they get labeled as rude or mean. They're mean because they weren't happy to have stuff thrown at them?? Like people need to give their heads a shake.

I hate how celebrities feel like they have to apologise for telling people to leave them alone. Like if someone was annoying you or harassing and you told them to leave you alone they’d most likely do it. But with celebrities and they do it’s like automatic backlash. AND with kid actors or younger people, having random strangers saying “I love you, you’re my favourite person.” And that sort of stuff. It would be disturbing, scary and sometimes a bad influence on their mental health.
