She was sued for infringement. None of the New Yorker vogue hip hop version of Flashdance moves could be performed. Any publicity added would only go to other people most likely. Not to mention, she’s hyper sexualized in this video and might not want to be viewed like that all the time (Jlo booty sound familiar? She didn’t coin that herself. Neither did Diddy or the Wayans). Unless you want to see her singing this in front of a mic with no dancing, knowing the proceeds for purchase of the music video or accompanying album artwork will gain more feuding than revenue, you should really understand. The original dancer and Flashdance creators might have even told her not to perform it under any circumstances during the settlement deal.

Also Jennifer Beals from the Movie Flashdance used a stunt double for all the tough moves( spins, high kicks, splits jumps)& her stunt double was not a female it was.. a male. He did a great job at the end if the movie its real evident where she points to each judge? They dont even try to conceal the face its clearly not Beals& i was thinking that would have been an easy part to have Beals do so... hmm yeah so awesome dancing fromboth and loved Jennifer Beals as an actress.
