You wanna know why that is? It is because she is putting something out that you can relate to and a lot of people can. The problem with Jen and many other artists is that they get famous and make enough money that they can now put what they want out and their attitude can be thrown into. The fact is we can't relate to her and her culture or the black culture she embraced. I love this song and i feel exactly the same way. Will Smith is another that I loved as a kid, but I can't stand now. The fact is they put on a show for their fans and made money and actually cared about relating to a bigger audience. Then they get famous and have enough money that they don't care anymore and their real life attitude and other things we can't relate to come out.
