i have, she is articulate and i actually admire her. however, this project has highs and lows. it’s not exactly a story, because not enough happens, the main thing that happens is her character realising it’s more important to love yourself first, and then happiness and maybe love with someone will happen. the rest of it is visually stunning, but there’s a lot of fillers there. it’s a compilation of videos, each video underlines a moment/relationship. but you feel like fast-forwarding through each of them, because you don’t get new info by watching. also, there’s not a lot of intimacy, aka heartfelt, viscerally open moments. maybe the reconnection with her childhood self was that. mostly it felt kind of glossy, not managing to dive too deep beyond the surface level. it is visually great, there clearly was a lot of work put into it, but… i felt like sthg was missing.

I just finished watching the musical on Prime. Some moments are total cringe....but the movie is a great self love story of finding and healing your inner self. It is worth a watch. And I completely connect with the story, and I am not even a huge Jlo fan. But this was well done. I hope young ladies watch this to learn about the importance of self love as early as possible to avoid going through the despair of horrible relationships and insecurities.

As a 22 year fan of JLo and totally Team Bennifer 2.0, I hate that I don’t love this project. I REALLY wanted to but its just lacking to me. The music is just okay. The first half of the movie was just okay, it got better. But I was expecting more. I thought maybe it will grow on me but I don’t even really have a desire to listen again.

I am a big admirer of how hardworking she is and how much she improved herself in the past decades, but I agree with you. In my opinion, the album and movies together was a great idea but it was rushed. The main problem is that she is a workaholic and does too much in one go. As it is a 100% personal project, she should had focus just in that and take her time. She has also to be careful with over exposition as we are in a different era and people get bored easily. It is a new generation with attention defficit. Look at Adele. She disappears for a while and Bang! Comes with a great album. I think JLo rushed with this one after 10 years of no recording.....Shame. It had everything to be a killer but it isn't.

The Amazon prime video was a cross between LaLA land, a personal diary and a parody of life. I don’t know what to do with it. I’m not sure why she felt she needed to express her love life experiences in this way, it doesn’t convey to me, very clearly. But if it made her happy and she funded it, to each their own

I watched it. A waste of an hour. No creative angles. No real point or storyline. Tbh it was cringe. She’s very self centered. I get that it’s her art so I can appreciate her for expressing herself, but it’s very obvious that she’s not very creative because otber dynamic performers have taken us to worlds through their music and art. She just took us to her life in the 2000s. No real revelations and no real substance. And the music is terrible. Jennifer Lopez the supreme example of politics over talent. She cannot sing and shes not a true artist.
