I’m going to be totally honest here. You ask what is our favorite thing about this video……. I absolutely love just how relaxing you sound when explaining anything. It’s been 2 years and 3-1/2 weeks since I’ve really crafted. My husband would sit at the kitchen table and just watch and help pick his favorite colors and just almost get so involved with the crafts. Lost him just over 2 years ago and it just hurts so much to even try to start up again. However, I did make thank you cards for everyone that pitched in on donating since his death was so unexpected. So Jennifer, it’s all about your voice for me. It really helps me to reminisce my memories of him and I crafting together ❤

Jennifer: You are always an inspiration. I always keep your reminder about the recipient in mind--they won't care that I stamped an image to watercolor, e.g. I want to share my friend's idea: She was hesitant to throw my cards away even though she can reuse them because I use your idea of the Post-it paper inside the card. Instead, she keeps them in a box and her granddaughters take them apart and use them to create their own projects. Thanks for ALL you do!

To pick my favorite thing about this video .. This is a tough choice. Besides listening to Jennifer talk and explain so beautifully, I would say the reminder creating cards should be fun and to enjoy it. Sometimes, creating things doesn't always go the way you see it in your head, which could lead to frustration. Then to remember why you are doing this, besides (for me it is) charging my batteries, would bring the fun and joy back into your creation. Thank you, Jennifer, this is a great reminder :)

As Jennifer made the comment about not needing to be perfect, I thought about cards I have made for specific people and how I hoped it would make them feel good. I learned that making the card the size I feel comfortable with is what helps because I am horrible at number and even though the score board or cutter have them listed, I ca never get them wrong and get super discouraged. I am a horrible stamper too, I practice but I decided that I will use die cuts as my sentiments. Using others cards as inspiration and not try to copy it as shown. Jennifer always inspires me, she makes things look so easy and she explains things where she gives me confidence
@helenl36862 ай бұрын
My favorite part of this video is the encouragement to just do something not necessarily make a project start to finish, but perhaps cut out some shapes or color some stamped designs or make some backgrounds. It actually gives me a better reason to open the door to my craft room and be creative even though the outcome may not be a finished project today. Today I've decided just to go into my craft room and look through my stamps and dies because sometimes I have forgotten what I actually have.
