I know this is from six years ago, but I wanted to comment. I am turning 49 in a couple weeks, and as a Generation X'er I grew up in the 1970's and 1980's, and Jennifer O'Neill is one of those few people that you never forget. Her body of work is amazing, and obviously she has always been easy on the eyes. A few minutes ago, I got finished watching "Summer of '42" on TCM, and it was a great movie. They simply don't make them like her anymore.

I just finished watching Summer of 42 on TCM but I have the paper back Iv'e owned it for over maybe 40 years, I have the dvd of this movie have viewed it count less times and I still feel the same about it I love it!!! It is still a wonderful movie, I was 11 when this hit the big screen I saw it on television and fell in love with Miss O'Neill been in love with her ever since it's 3-10-22 and I went to this video cause I Googled Herman Raucher the author at this time he is in his 90s and Miss O'Neill still looks great in this video. That movie made such an impression on me...years have passed by and I am now 60 years old and I will always love Jennifer O'Neill.....Ps it's Soooo good to hear she is a Christian!!! "Praise the Lord."

when I watched. hears a summer once. I was exactly 15 years old. the same age as the boy in the movie .. i found myself in the same situation ,. I fell in love at the time, with Jennifer .... but her career. it was not the success it could have been. maybe wrong choices .. i saw secret file.ate the silly fellow, hers. in the series, fire a shot in the head, but I didn't recognize it. I also didn't recognize her in the film, which I recommend ... journey ... a journey through time. when she is already 60 approx .. and she was wonderful ... only. after i managed to find the file .. hear it once .. the summer that i figured out who it was ... and wonderful is from our little land ... see. is 72 years old. and it’s still wonderful. you will always be in my heart Jennifer

Grew up in the 70’s. I remember one late weekend night visiting my dad side of the family and other siblings when I saw The Summer Of 42 on HBO. I was around 11 yrs old or so. She was my first real love I fell in love with on TV and in life. She was Stunning and still is today. I was never ever the same again after seeing her in that movie. I’ve thought about this lady all my life, just remembering the movie. She had the kind of genuine innocence as a young grown up lady that you don’t see anymore today. She still looks lovely today and with silver hair. I rewatched The Summer Of 42 for the 2nd time ever. And I always wondered what happened to her.
