*folding when you "know" you're beat would make more sense e.g like in this spot with Robl. Robl beats pure bluffs here and it's hard to imagine a bluff Tilly could have with the way the hand played out. Perhaps a busted club draw or KJ but even those don't seem too likely. It's hard to fold trips though, even if you know you're likely beat. Folding to the extent you're being run over is weak/passive. The same as calling too much.

i literally always do this as a reverse tell. i bluff alot. ill throw a big pile of chips on the river. they ask for a count. i will literally announce the amount confidently. and then recount the chips for the dealer. so idk if its neccesarily a solid tell.
