Absolutely! ...And also it's downfall. As an 8 y/o fan from the get-go in '88, Bride is my favourite, but I can totally see how it's less than desirable to a lot of Chucky fans. I think Curse is the worst, followed by Seed. And Cult is absolutely one of the best ones, but gets a lot of hate for whatever reason. It was so Hitchcockian.

It's really refreshing just how devoted and open-minded the cast and crew of the _Chucky_ franchise are. So many celebrities and filmmakers sort-of turn their noses to the weird genre films they've worked on... but not the _Chucky_ family. The franchise has multiple Oscar nominated actors who have stuck with it for decades, has had the same lead writer and producer since the original film, and constantly finds ways to bring back previous cast members. And they *always* gush about how much they love each other and how much fun it is to make. Always bums me out when people look down on the franchise... it's one of the most fun and experimental horror franchises there is, and has such a warm feeling behind the scenes that comes through on screen.
