Beautiful song! I had never heard it before. Nice to be introduced to 2 Australian singers Travis Collins & Amy Sheppard. Home Free does a great collaboration as always. I felt like everyone added something special to this song including Adam's fabulous vocal percussion. And love seeing the beautiful Australian countryside & animals.

This is an Australian anthem. If it comes on everyone will be singing it. The version I know came out in the early 90's by Daryl Braithwaite with Margaret Urlich. I love this HF version with Travis & Amy💕

That modulation threw me for a loop, too. Loved your reaction because it reminded me of my first reaction to this. I had to build up to this song collab, to be honest. I'm a home fry, but that's just what my first reaction was. I loved Travis's tambor/timbre, because it reminds me of Michael McDonald. Anyway, you nailed the reaction, so in-depth, as usual. Please consider reacting to another one of Home Free's songs. There are a few rare gems you have missed over the years. "We Just Disagree" is one of the old classics that they covered which has a universal and timeless message. Thank you.

I understand that this song is an Australian standard. Amy, Travis & HF sound terrific together and, of course, the singing, harmonies & beatboxing are perfect. The scenery and wildlife are just wonderful. There's a kind of irony in Adam beatboxing in front of a bunch of snare drums (LOL). Thanks for playing this & your comments.

This is one of the great Aussie songs. As an Aussie (English born) one has to belt out the chorus. They did justice to Darryl Braithwaite's iconic version. We call wild horses Brumbies.

Jen, loved watching you enjoy watching Horses. The original is by Rickie Lee Jones, I think in the late ‘80’s. I believe the song is about a father dealing with cancer and talking to his daughter, telling her he will always be watching whatever happens. The guys had fun doing this “Australian anthem” just like “Sweet Caroline” is here in the USA. ❤

This song feels so uplifting. Travis and Amy work so well in concert with the Home Free fellas. I am not sure where the string sounds are coming from - I know Adam Rupp is doing the percussion parts. I wonder if guys like Rob or Chance are somehow adding some effects. (Remember Adam Chance did the strange mouth harp sound in "Man of Constant Sorrow".) Wonderful reaction as always, Jen. Jen, If you've heard the song 'Geronimo' by Shepard you have heard Amy before, as Shepard is her and her siblings band, despite being an Australian myself I don't know Travis Collins. @@JenniferGlatzhofer: you like the modulation ( key changes) into fuller sounding harmony that the key change changes the whole dynamic of this song. To me, the modulation in this that why Pentatonix doesn’t have fuller sounding harmony like Home Free have.

Since they are only in the UK for three days for 3 shows a day's journey apart, I doubt that they will have time for anything. Don't know why they are in such a rush, missing out places that were a great success last time, no time for PR. The UK is a very expensive place but there are other US artists spending the whole summer here, doing festivals as well as theatre shows.
