This is a beautiful interview... I saw The Five Heartbeats as a kid in theaters, at like 9 or 10. Had like 6 copies of it between VHS & DVD because I needed a copy everywhere I would go; things would often get lost in transport when I was in the military. My 1st copy I think I was early teens & I watched it prolly 9 times in a row. Play → rewind → repeat 😂. It's still my fav with The Temptations biopic at #2. "Can't nobody sang like Eddie Kang Jr." 😂
