I came out of the theatre smiling and really pleased as a Caribbean native. I loved that the got he Jamaican accent right. The only thing I didn't like was that it ended too soon. I was hungry for more.

I grew in the Caribbean, and Bobs music was a staple in the soundtrack of my life but his songs hit different now that I'm older and wiser. The movie prompted me to give a good listen, and man, Bob was the best. No wonder his music has survived the test of time.

The movie was a disappointment for me, I expected a biop that covered Bob from birth to the formation of the Wailers to his death. It basically covered two years of his career from around 76 to 1978.
