I recieved the Explore Air 2 in the summer/fall of 2021. I JUST unboxed it with you tonight. YAY!!! Life gets so busy, time gets away from me, and I was a little intiminated by this tiny mint colored machine. Your video is a Godsend! I received my Air2 the other day and am looking forward to getting started. Jennifer, your detailed instructions have been so good, it helped me out a lot. Very professional. I was tracking all the way through until it was time to do the test cut, then I ran into a problem. I was forced to call Tech Support and they found the problem. Very clear instructions they gave as well. Everything was clear English, I wasn't speaking to someone from another country like other Tech Support. Don't mean to offend anyone with that. awesome video! Thank you I just watched when I was setting up my first cricut. I did run into a problem however, when I went to do my first trail cut. The computer just says, " cut in progress...preparing." and it has circle spinning around. I'm trying to problem solve now with that. I also accidentally dropped my mat face down on the carpet (00ps) so I had to watch another video on how to clean it! Beginners issues I guess.

Loved your video with the instructions. Very clear and so helpful! I encountered a last minute issue at the time of cutting. The system was kept saying preparing for cutting, but it never happened. So I turned the machine off. Is there a way to go back to text the cutting to complete the set ups? Please advise.

Hi! I just purchased one and excited to fallow along! I was having trouble with the setup, when i go to click cut, it just gets stuck on "cut in progress preparing" any ideas how to fix this? Ive tried restarting and redoing but cant figure it out. I tried each sample paper and my own but no luck

I just learned about the custom setting on the explore air 2. I have only done a few cuts and I wondered why I wasn't asked to select materials and cutting instructions in design space. yes, when you turn the dial to custom, you will then go into DS and select your materials. 🥰

Awesome video! What I am looking for is a cutter that I can load a piece of decorated paper with images on it (the kind you find in scrapbooking paper pads). The ones you are supposed to "fussy" cut out. I am NOT good at fussy cutting. Does the Cricut Explore Air 2 do this, or does it only cut from the designs from the software? Thanks!

Hi. I am very new to cricut, I'm following your set up right now for the Cricut Explore Air 2. Question. When you selected the test print design, my cricut skipped that one screen but it moved on to all of the other screens, so now that It did not give me an option to select a print, yet its still trying. It gave me all of the other settings, but now its stuck on print. I am guessing its because it skipped the select a test print. HELP!!!! How do I go back and try again..........ok, I figured out how to redo it, at the beginning of print, it says it is going to automatically print the logo. But it keeps spinning on "preparing to cut".....I've tried now 3 times, it just keeps spinning :-( P.S. Thank You for this video. Its amazing and I would be lost without this set up tutorial......... I'm such a visual person. But I'm not sure what to do now 😞

Hi I followed everything you were doing up until you had an option of shapes to pick from per testing out the Cricut. The instructions skipped right over that and went straight to pick the "Card Stock" feature all the way to pressing the "C" button then it continued to "think". Im still trying to get back to testing it out but dont know what Im doing over here lol. Ill keep trying. Beautiful studio and tutorial! 🧡
