Super idea Jennifer! I love adding dimension to my cards but due to high postage rates in Canada, I also like to make them as light as possible. These acetate wings will add that pop up feature when recipients open their envelope -- without the added mailing weight. I'm definitely on board with this clever technique that eliminates having to layer cardstock for dimension.

What a great way to use those tiny bits of packaging that have windows cut out or printing on the majority of it and only the edges are salvagable - no more throwing edges of packaging away after cutting the 'useable' square out of the middle! Thankyou!

Also a tip for when making Butterflies on cards, for their Antennae, I use black or white Stamens, the ones you buy for the centre of flowers, these look exactly like Antennae !!

When I was running classes, I would tell folks to go light on the glue and tuck it under your thigh while working on next bit. The heat and weight worked great, and nobody at the tables got their pieces mixed up. Love the tutorials!

Dimension this way is a great idea because it’s useful in sending without having to use and extra padded envelope. The embossing folder idea is great as well.

I appreciate the insight that it makes more sense to use a bubble mailer for the more dimensional cards, thanks for sharing that. :). Especially with how much effort I put into making even basic things, it makes sense to go the extra step of a bubble mailer.
