I know I can’t be the only one that gets all teary eyed like some crazy internet “Auntie” when I see our little Lilah crafting along side her Momma! I mean, you guys, we’ve literally watched her grow up right in front of us.. from Jennifer sneaking away for her quick crafting moments in between naps and feeding times, to now, Lilah is discussing her favorite card stocks, inks, embellishments and brands! And here we were thinking that the most precious video ever made was Collin sitting at his little table playing with Distress Inks and telling Tim how fantastic he thought they were and how much he loved them. WHERE did these babies go?! 🥲😭🥲 As you can probably tell, I’ve been a LONG, LONG time watcher of Jennifer’s videos. I want to say she had under 1000 subscribers and was a SCRAPBOOKER! There’s one certain video that I go back to over and over in my mind that absolutely blew me away - and I’m sure she’s probably tired of me mentioning it, but as once also a scrapbooker let me tell you the beauty and the techniques… even way back then… (published on 05/25/08). This was a fantastic video! Had to watch later, but thankful it's possible to do so. Lila, you did a wonderful job of showing us how to use layering stencils! Beautiful card❤ Jennifer, it was so fun watching mother and daughter craft! I enjoy seeing how you use your supplies, the layers you made were so pretty. I am a huge actetate fan, whether shakers, windows or clear cards! I definitely will pick up some of the rub-on transfers. All three of those cards are really pretty. Lila did a great job. I love her card with the tulips and friends on there and I also like the floral one it’s cute to see Lila. I remember when she was little or little hand with all of a sudden appear in the video. It’s nice to have a daughter that enjoys what you do.

I have one that is a tulip field and can add a windmill in the distance. It has 4 layering stamps for the tulips and greenery. Fun!

Lila, you stencil as I do: do yellow first, then other colors to overlap and blend. That keeps the yellow brush pure. A red or blue brush can absorb a little yellow. Yellow is one of my favorite colors and I only have one set of brushes, so I like my yellow to stay yellow.
