Your videos are NEVER to long. You teach so well, and it's not the length of a video for crafters; it's the information and quality of a video. And Jennifer, you ARE one of the BEST ON KZbin! You are a WINNER!

+Jennifer McGuire when I'm looking for inspiration and when the person doing the tutorials does a good job, it doesn't even seem long. After I watch it though, if I ever want to go back for refreshing I just look at what I need and skip the rest. I've seen most of your videos several times so I usually know where to look when I want to try out a technique after I buy the product

Don't apologize for your videos being longer! I wish they were twice as long -- I learn so much from your casual remarks about how you do things. I think your videos are perfectly positioned to teach people who know a little but are still in that phase of "there is so much more to learn!" Thank you for your videos and your blog.

I already love embossing folders, but I am in LOVE with the genius idea of 6x6 folders. It does get frustrating to have a design that will only work on one orientation, so this is a perfect solution!
@cathyferris8294 жыл бұрын
Have some embossing folders and didn’t know how to use them well. The 6x6 size solves some of my issues. All that I have found are smaller and don’t fit what I want to do. Your videos are spot on in timing and clarity. Thanks

It's nice that a number of people have commented on this video not being too long, but I for one prefer videos to be on the shorter side. I only have so much time to watch them, and my favorites ones are the ones that are shorter and to the point but still thoroughly explain a technique.

On the "tree" embossing folder, after you ink the background, you can ink other things such as trees, wildlife, etc. and then insert the card stock and emboss. It makes the items stamped on look like they are behind the trees.

Yeah, it's an old idea, I've been doing it for 15 years, and it wasn't my idea. The cool thing about stamping is that even though we've known about it forever, others haven't, obviously;) Now, in another 15 years, someone is going to say, "Oh, I learned that from Jennifer McGuire 15 years ago!" PS I use filters for my glitter, too.

On another tutorial they recommended that you leave the paper in the folder when adding ink (or sanding) on the high points because the folder's ridges hold the paper up and keep the raised areas from crushing.
