WOW I finally got some time all to myself and I really enjoyed your video Embossing Folder Pop. Once the video finished I went through all my many many embossing folders and set them aside near my work counter to be used ASAP. I love all the backgrounds and cards. Your Techniques are the Greatest and loaded with terrific ideas. I agree with Brenda P. ANY Day that starts with Jennifer is a really good day no matter what the weather is like.

Im glad you took time to yourself to organize your craft room. Its good to see you not feeling so obligated to stick to a particular schedule as if you owe us something. I know you never said anything in the past but having a similar personality im sure it has stressed you out before. If anything we all owe you, big time!

What a superbly useful video. I have at least 12 embossing folders that I'm not using very much anymore. This is so completely useful and I had made myself a small sanding block so tomorrow is back to creating. Spent today and yesterday in this cold cold weather in Michigan making Easter cards. Years ago I learned that the process in making embossing folders may cause the edges to cut through cardstock. So if this happens run a piece of chipboard through it to "sand" the edges. Of course I always spritz with water whenever using 3d folders. Thank you for the great videos and inspiration.

I am blown away by this technique Jennifer! I think I’ll be looking into some new embossing folders. I’ve been using a lot of stencils because of the look and the cost allows me to get more looks in my cards. Thank you for your easy to understand instruction that makes me believe I can get the same result as you even though I’ve only been doing this a few years. May you and yours remain healthy n this trying time.

This is a great technique! While I was watching this I realized that I have an embossing folder that has raised dots along the top half. If I wanted a night sky, I could ink blend the entire card, use the embossing folder, and sand the dots so that they look like snowflakes or stars!

A video on inks and paper will be so helpful- I’m on my first months of this new hobby and it’s overwhelming to figure out what inks to use with what paper - I have a nice collection of GinaK inks and few distress inks already - HELP! Great video.
@cherylthompson94703 жыл бұрын
Jennifer has done videos on using specific inks if you search the archives. What you want to know depends more upon the technique or look you are going for. Play with what you have and see if you achieve what you want. Relax and enjoy yourself, it is art and there is no wrong way. You get better with practice and you will learn how to fix mistakes along the way. Tim Holtz and Gina K both have lots of helpful videos too, check out the older stuff.
