crafts by sylvia The circles are 3 inches wide or 7cm whichever is easiest for you! But I would suggest that you mix them with smaller ones approx 2 inches wide as well to gain a better effect and more shabby chic look for your tree! Also don't forget you will need even smaller ones nearer the top as well so you can make them approx 1.5 inch upwards :) xx

I don't think you can buy them, nor do you need to. Just draw round something circular like a CD or a mug or something of the right size on a piece of thick corrugated cardboard from a box (ask for one in a shop or supermarket; they're usually very happy to oblige). Cut out the circle with a strong pair of scissors. Repeat for more circles as required and follow the decorating instructions from 1.22. This is what I like about Jennings' tutorials; instead of using a pre-cut wooden circle, which you usually have to buy in pricey packs of five or ten or more, you can economise and recycle the cardboard box you brought your groceries back from the shop in, like I did!
