Hi Fiona, You make the best projects out of all sorts of recyclables. Your pin cushion is adorable. Instead of using a needle and thread, I just use an elastic band and secure the fabric. Makes thing go a little faster. TFS Lorraine

Hi Lorraine, yes I've done it that way too but the only problem is that over time the elastic band does break because it shrivels and snaps. xx
