Jenn, your content is awesome! What is the number one reason to upgrade from iMovie to Final Cut Pro? I mostly make little videos for Facebook, but I would like to make a channel soon...

If you want to make more complex videos with more effects, then I would def recommend FCP. If you don't ever plan on getting too into the weeds with editing, iMovie is a great choice. Thanks for the great video! For someone trying to get started on KZbin, this was super helpful. I put some of these tips into practice and almost immediately saw growth. I went from 10 to 12 subscribers :D! Hey, we got to start somewhere right? In all seriousness (the 10 to 12 is real), I did see a faster rate in views using these tips. Every little bit helps. It's funny because her SEO score for the video is only 30% according to TubeBuddy, not a knockdown it's just interesting considering the tags are on point but that doesn't reflect the actual real-world score and reach something to consider and keep in mind. the best advice is to find a topic people want to know or are interested in, the subs will follow. Keep going guys and stay strong 💪😀

Hey Jenn. Recently found your channel. Loving it. Here’s something I would like your advice on. Neil Patel (SEO Rock Star - i am sure you know of him) recently said on his channel that KZbin is PENALIZING content creators who explicitly beg for comments. I don’t know where he got his info from but Neil is no lightweight so he must have so insights. Have you heard this before?

Great suggestions for me as a complete beginner - thank you. How do you manage to mention your videos in other people's FB groups without getting banned for "self-promotion" (usually that's one of the top rules in groups - no self-promotion). When I tried to be helpful to members of some groups by answering questions that the admins were ignoring (and by referring the question poster to my existing blog for a full answer), I got banned 🙄

Facebook Groups are tricky. I shared a video in a very male dominated group and someone got very prickly- turns out our KZbin channels were a bit similar and he felt like I was on his turf. Even the admin told him to cool it. You just need to find the right group... OR start your own!

You don’t get paid for skippable ads if people skip right away. That’s why relying on ad revenue is not the most effective way to make money on YT.

So one must rely on just their content. Yes I do wanna start posting probably by next week but I am not very sure how it will benefit me eventually. I am an aspiring writer and I have not yet completed a book but I love writing and I really like the idea of KZbin but I am not sure how it will pay me for my content because I feel I really do have something worth paying for.

There’s always someone who knows more than you do. If you’re reasonably well versed in a given topic, you probably know more about it that 90% of the population. You don’t have to know EVERYTHING to start a channel.
