This is def one of my favorite tropes because the stories tend to be more angsty. These were so good! One of my favorite "Forced Marriage" book is Desire in His Blood by Zoey Draven. I still think about it even now... and a true enemies to loves trope, too. I ❤📚!

I've heard you talk about Eyes of Silver, Eyes of Gold so much but THIS time I am READING IT lol!

The Wraith King has the most beautiful cover! It was a little slow for me but I think that’s how it was written just a slower dark gothic tale. Definitely adding a few of these to my tbr.

Great as always! Kind of surprised you didn't include Devil From Moscow by Sonja Grey. That's one of my favorites with this trope.

I haven't read it! Haha! So I couldn't include it. But you just did! Recs in the comments are great!!

Forced Marriage is my all-time-favorite trope (that and captor/captive are tied)! I blame my early HR years of Shannon Drake (she wrote A LOT of forced marriage!) 😂🤭

Same. (Only I blame Anna Zaires.)

Totally get it! She's good! I've only read the Twisted series, though. I need to read her other stuff.

The Tormentor Mine series is my favorite, 10/10 would recommend, especially if you like sexy Russians. (My first hs crush was from Moscow, so, yeah. Nostalgia!)

This is entirely off-topic, but I just finished See It Through by Julia Wolf, and I loved it because Lachlan’s parents got back together. I would’ve loved to see that in a Novella, and the father’s letter to Remington made me cry.

Have you ever read the king by Eris Belmont?? I feel like you’d really love that book! It’s a dark fantasy book and it’s dark!! But I absolutely adore that book waiting in book 3 coming out April!!!

Are there any good Irish mafia books? I recently read Brutal Prince by Sophie Lark and it was eh to me. I liked the Irish Mafia inclusion though.

The Filthy Feckers by Serena Akeroyd, Beautifully Cruel by JT Geissinger, Unchosen Ruler by Maggie Cole, Ruthless Savage by Lilian Harris to name a few. 🥰

Can Filthy Savage be read as a stand alone? Thanks ❤
