Thanks for sharing! Once a week videos would be great!

I do individual supplies too for the same reason. If I had to share supplies and someone in my group was putting them in their mouth, picking their nose and touching stuff, and losing everything--I'd be hot! Also, individual supplies have helped me better see who is not keeping track/taking care of their supplies.

Thank you for being specific with your plans and ideas! I have so many things in mind for the first week or so of school, but I need to make a plan that makes sense, so this example helps me wrap my head around that task!

Usually it stays the same. They have to know it ahead of time for the special education teachers' schedules.

Same!! I just didn't want to do double the work and I KNEW I would regret not getting a physical planner.

Love your planning videos; they are so helpful! What do your students do when you read aloud a chapter book?
@JennuineTeaching Жыл бұрын
Most of the time, I just have them listen to me read since it's just for fun. When I do it as a novel study we talk about different standards and comprehension skills throughout the book. Then we end with usually watching the movie if it has one or doing a classroom transformation with comprehension challenges that match it.

I looked EVERYWHERE for it and I can never find it!! Honestly, I think it was a freebie to a newsletter I signed up for. I'll have to make one myself and share it when I do.
