Serena was so annoying and selfish here. Jenny clearly told her that she wanted to celebrate her birthday just with her family but Serena decided to throw her this party just so she can prove that she’s relevant and still able to throw great parties. Serena had clearly done something wrong, made the situation all about her once again and ruined something that was supposed to be someone else’s joyful occasion but once again, she didn’t fully admit her fault and played the victim I mean, the fact that she said « I genuinely thought you’d be thrilled » and « if you weren’t happy ,you should have just said something » when Jenny had been VERY clear about what she wanted for her birthday and about the fact that she was angry. But noooo, once again, Serena makes it all about her (I mean, most people didn’t even know it was Jenny’s birthday) and doesn’t even apologize and plays the victim because someone won’t let her get away with what she did

@@qvxcswqr because Blair is the most childish person ever. All she has are her games. I agree that Blair's fans are hypocrites. But in this situation, Serena comes off as annoying because it's out of character for her to do something like this. She's usually mature and doesn't care what people think, so it was lame for her to manipulate Jenny's bday for poppy. I think most people actually find it entertaining when Serena is petty and activates her "queen" mode. Even Blair fans. But as I mentioned, this was a lame thing to do and out of character for Serena. The same way that Blair has a hard time coming off as effortless and cool, Serena looks bad when she acts childish.

Idk maybe thats true, but not for me. I'm a Blair fan and a Serena fan actually, but no I still hate on both of them when they're doing something wrong like this for example. I'm rewatching S2 right now and still haven't forgiven them for the sht both Serena and Blair pulled on Ms Carr. And then when Ms Carr stands up to them and defends herself, shes the villain in it, not them. And they don't suffer any real consequences fr what they did to her and the only consequence they did have was Blair that she didn't get to go to Yale and we're made to feel sorry for her, when it was her fault in the first place. Don't torture someone and try to get them arrested over not giving you enough points on your paper. They took that way too far, Blair should have been punished a lot worse for what she did but nope slap on the wrist like usual and the rest of the characters excuse her behavior and treated her like the victim in the situation even Dan. So no...your ''Blair fans let her get away with everything thing you're implying may be true for most Idk but its not for me. I don't excuse either Blair or Serena's bad behavior.

Jenny defending herself against Serena doesn't make her the bad guy. Nope sorry. She wasn't trying to destroy their home. She was trying to destroy the party that Serena already destroyed. Serena destroyed her party, so now Jenny was standing up for herself and destroying Serena's party. An eye for an eye. Jenny didn't expect or mean for it to get that out of control. What serena did is like someone taking over someone else wedding or some equilvant to that. This was supposed to be a day to celebrate Jenny and show her love and respect and serena did the opposite of that-knew she was doing it-and just didn't care. She completely disrespected Jenny and screwed her over for no good reason. just cause she wanted to appear cool in front of popppy and the girls at school. and Serena made it all about herself and used it for her own gain and completely screwed Jenny over for no good reason. I don't understand the logic fans have that its ok for the people who starts the fight to do something terrible and wrong to someone else, but when people stand up to them and show they're not going to allow someone to walk all over them-somehow they're the bad guy. That makes no sense. If Serena doesn't want to suffer the consequences of her actions, then I guess she shouldn't go out of her way to do something wrong and screw over those closest to her for her own selfish gain. I like how the same ppl in here defending Serena saying she did nothing wrong are trying to act like jenny committed the ultimate crime. You can see nothing wrong with what Serena did, but then amplify Jenny's 'crime' during this? That's such bs. It's bad enough the characters always justify Serena's awful behavior, but the fans do it too is just insanity.
